Kristin Burgham — 'Lucky Seven Bottle' in Snow, Sculptural Vessel

$160

This delightful bottle is imprinted with the number seven. It is a unique flattened circular form that resembles a rising moon or the sun setting over a horizon. It complements any number of larger pieces and is a great addition to any collection. It is one of the smaller pieces in the range. Due to its construction Lucky Seven bottle is not water tight. It can be
washed in warm water.

Kristin Burgham is a Melbourne based ceramicist working with industrial ceramic production processes and found objects. She works with discarded objects to explore and build on the narrative of both the abandoned object and evidence of its maker. Her hand-built porcelain objects result in assemblages imbued with colour, scale and memory. Her works acknowledge and reflect on industry and its social history.

Burgham has studied ceramics in Australia and Hong Kong and her work has been acquired by Shepparton Art Museum for their public collection and is also in private collections. She completed a BFA at RMIT in 2019 and won the RMIT Ceramics Association judges choice award in 2019.
