A one-off contemporary ceramic sculpture. Expressive, unconventional,surface and glaze applications confined by architectonic form. Reading dynamically from all sides and in differing light. Functional if that is preferenced.

Angela Hayes is a Naarm/Melbourne-based ceramic artist. Her geometric sculptures reference classic pouring vessels. The lip, the body, the foot, and the handle have evolved from wheel thrown vessels to contemporary slab-made architectonic forms. Hayes studied Fine Art (Ceramics) at Queensland College of Art and has completed both a Bachelor and Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Melbourne.
