Simone Karras is a ceramic artist based in Melbourne. She uses the hand-building method of coiling to form dramatic bulbous vessels with strong silhouettes. Her glazes are kept to a minimal allowing the natural colours and textures of the clay to be highlighted.
Karras completed a Bachelor of Arts (Ceramic Design) at Monash University.
