Femme Brutale

Femme Brutale — 'Smoke Light Totem : Amplus' Light Totem, 2026

$4,200

The light totem series employs Femme Brutale's signature motif:  a cube with a single curved edge, which in isolation is stark, unyielding, brutal. The form is repeated and treated; carved, clad, burnt. Wood becomes undulating, fur is etched to invoke wood grain, glass becomes molten and is preserved in sensual, lucid forms. Some shimmer, some seemingly deaden light, and some invoke touch.  Light Totems are part of Femme Brutale's ongoing :  Sensual Living Systems™ series.
This expression is paired with the Tar; Queen Bee orb.
