A one-off contemporary ceramic sculpture. Expressive, unconventional surface and glaze applications confined by architectonic form. Reading dynamically from all sides and in differing light. Functional if that is preferenced.

Angela Hayes is a Naarm/Melbourne-based ceramic artist. Her geometric sculptures reference classic pouring vessels. The lip, the body, the foot, and the handle have evolved from wheel thrown vessels to contemporary slab-made architectonic forms. Hayes studied Fine Art (Ceramics) at Queensland College of Art and has completed both a Bachelor and Master of Landscape Architecture at the University of Melbourne.
