Message from Craft
Along with many other Victorian galleries, Craft is closed until current restrictions are lifted.
Now more than ever, Craft is seeking to support the livelihoods of craft artists and to provide inspiring experiences of the handmade. We’re developing new ways of highlighting Australian craftspeople through online exhibitions, interviews and more. We’re also working to make some of our programs and workshops, including children’s activities, accessible online as soon as possible.
Each day more work by wonderful makers will be available to view, learn about and collect online. We’ve added a messaging app so you can communicate directly with our team about any of the works appearing on our online gallery as well as our programming or membership services. These conversations can be held via messaging services, Zoom or Face-time. We’ve also developed additional hygiene procedures and precautions for the preparation of online orders. Our staff wear masks while working behind the scenes at Craft and regularly sanitise their hands while wrapping and packing online orders.
During this constantly evolving situation the
health and wellbeing of our members, staff and community is our top priority.
Consider investing in unique and affordable works by leading makers or purchase the gift of the handmade for a loved one with a gift card.
You can also support Craft’s extensive program of exhibitions and professional support for makers by making a tax deductible donation.
