Tracy Muirhead is a ceramic artist born in South Africa and based on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Her practice involves collaborating with the clay, with minimal manipulation, to aid it in finding its own expression. Using a variety of clays and glazes combined with hand building techniques, she sculpts functional wares that are a result of playful discovery. Creating unique and individual pieces she applies special consideration to how they may enhance the environments they end up in, in a timeless way.

Muirhead has exhibited as part of the Victorian Craft Awards at Craft Victoria, 2015 and 2016, and has exhibited throughout Victoria. She completed a Diploma of Arts (Ceramics) at Box Hill Tafe in 2010.
