Alexis Mason — 'Junie' Mugs
The functional 'Junie' series explores repetition in the natural world, examining how complexity can emerge from the accumulation of simple elements. Drawing inspiration from the Junonia seashell, the series investigates pattern, surface and variation through considered glaze chemistry and application. Due to the handmade nature of these cups, they vary between sizes.
