Felicity Jane Large — Tinsel Earrings Oxidised

Felicity Large is an independent jeweller working from her cosy studio in Melbourne, Australia. Her journey began with studying Fine Arts at Monash University, majoring in Metals and Jewellery. She then returned to study, undertaking the more technical Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology: Jewellery at NMIT (now Melbourne Polytechnic).

Felicity’s pieces all start life as a sheet of metal or length of wire. Hand fabricating pieces in this way, as opposed to pouring molten metal into a mould, makes for longer lasting pieces.

“I’m really passionate about quality. I like to know that the pieces I make can be worn and enjoyed for many years to come. Attention to detail is its own reward.”
