Marian Fox
Marian Fox — 'Marking place, making space III', Sculptural Vessel
This sculptural vessel is the perfect centrepiece, being both functional and decorative. The bronze glaze will develop a patina over time, adding character with its use. This vessel is water tight and can be hand washed.
“It is a reflection of the paths and roads we choose to take and our marking of place” – Marian Fox.

Marian Fox is a ceramic artist based in Ballarat, on Wadawurrung lands. Her practice is intuitive, with each piece emerging as a direct response to mood, focus, and influence at the time of making. Marian’s work often incorporates oxides, underglazes, and engobes, exploring themes of family history, landscape, and memory through color, line, and pattern.
In 2024, Marian was a demonstrator at Craft Lab. Previously, they were selected as a UNESCO representative to exhibit at the Traditional Craft and Folk Art Triennale in Jinju, South Korea (2023). That same year, their work was recognized by the National Emerging Art Prize as part of ACB Selects 2023
