Tom Summers — 'Liber Bowl' in Blue

Each porcelain bowl has a sharply geometric base that transitions into a softly curved, slightly undulating rim. Each bowl is treated with liquid quartz and waxed to ensure it is watertight. Can be cleaned with warm water.

Tom Summers is a queer ceramic artist and product designer based in Brisbane, Meanjin. He makes hand built ceramic objects using lurid pigment-infused porcelain. Tom’s practice reflects a surreal and personal interpretation of the built environment. His work often incorporates recognisable architectural features and motifs, yet exists beyond the confines of time and place, seeming both futuristic and relic-like.
