Elfrun Lach is a contemporary jewellery artist based in Naarm/Melbourne. Her art practice is focused on art history, sustainability and a preference for combining precious with non-precious materials.
Lach has exhibited extensively, and her work is represented in collections in Australia and overseas. Born in Germany, she was a student of Art History, Eqyptology and Archaeology at Cologne University before moving to Australia and studying Gold & Silversmithing at RMIT. Lach completed a Master of Arts at RMIT researching coral and its historic use and symbolism in connection with contemporary artefacts.
