Claudia De Salvo is a ceramic artist based on the Gold Coast/Yugambeh. She is interested in both the functional and sculptural potential of clay. Her work often explores a contemporary approach to traditional silhouettes, creating pieces that evoke a playful sense of nostalgia.
Claudia completed a Bachelor of Fine Art and Queensland College of Art Masters in Creative Production and Arts Management, Queensland University of Technology. She recently had her works exhibited in Inhabiting States of Tension – Artisan, (2022) as well as SWELL Sculptural Festival (2020/22).
