Amelia Black

Amelia Black — 'Trace Sediment Iron Red Vase Eucalypt #2', Sculptural Vessel

$580

This collection explores material memory embedded in terracotta clay, featuring etched shadows of native trees that create distinctive textural surfaces. The earthy palette evokes the Australian landscape, reflecting processes of accumulation and transformation in nature. Melbourne-based artist Amelia Black investigates connections between materials, landscape, and environmental sustainability through this body of work, continuing her ongoing research into ceramic practices that respond to our changing relationship with the environment.
