Leisa Wharington — 'Petal Halo' Chandelier, 2024 – ON HOLD

$15,000
In my imagination, stories and fables are traditionally shared around a campfire under the light of the moon or around a dining table, where people gather to exchange experiences, unravel complexities, and make sense of the world. I love the idea of a halo—or a "cone of silence"—hovering over the table where these stories unfold, softly illuminating faces in the dark, creating a safe and inviting space for connection. The Halo Petal chandelier evokes this experience, with its natural, garden-inspired shapes flowing in a ring, suspended in space.

Leisa Wharington has been a glassblower on the Mornington Peninsula for more than 30 years, with a loyal following and presence in the area. Over the past ten years Leisa has morphed from primarily creating utilitarian wares for the home into lighting, specifically custom chandeliers, wall lights and pendants.
