A ceramic sculptural series, made through a process of slipcasting using a set of individually made, interchangeable plaster 'building blocks'. Named after the iconic West Australian landmark 'Observation City' on Scarborough Beach, these works reference the forms of late 20th century coastal architecture so prominent in Australia. 

Ella Reweti is a ceramic artist and designer based in Naarm/Melbourne. Reweti makes functional, sculptural pieces predominantly using the ceramic process of slip casting. Inspired by industrial and architectural forms, she produces her vessels using plaster moulds which she develops in-house. Available in a series of vibrant colours her range of vessels are stackable and versatile.

Reweti is a self-taught artist.
