VISIONARIES 2025:
Presenting the future of Australian art, craft and design through the lens of one of the country's most influential creatives.

Together, Fleming and Ceravolo’s liminal collection evokes spatial poetics and notions of scale and intimacy, while hovering between utility and abstraction. Their shared interest in pushing material boundaries and reimagining everyday elements results in a considered intersection of process, philosophy, and form.

Rosanna Ceravolo and Jordan Fleming bring together distinct yet complementary practices in their collaborative collection.

Fleming, an artist and designer with a background in cabinetmaking and interior design, founded her eponymous practice in 2019, crafting objects that transcend function to convey presence and a quiet, responsive energy within a space. Her process is deeply attentive, allowing materials to guide each design and treating them as active collaborators rather than passive mediums. Navigating the intersection of utility and artistry, Fleming produces work that is both thoughtfully crafted and resonant with personal expression. A sustained interest in manufacturing, fabrication, and material properties informs her approach, enabling careful experimentation and precision. Materially driven and tactically considered, her pieces possess a quiet character and a sense of presence that is both subtle and compelling.

Ceravolo is a Melbourne-based architect and founder of Studio Ceravolo — a multidisciplinary practice spanning architecture, interior, furniture, and object design. Underpinned by a desire to elevate the quotidian human experience, Ceravolo’s work intuits the boundaries and characteristics of singular materials to create works that are at once visually arresting and evocative, leaning heavily into her architectural ego to conjure dreamlike, architecturally resonant forms and language that often defy categorisation.

Joseph Gardner is the 2025 Visionaries curator – presenting DONE/UNDONE: an exhibition of 50+ artists, and one of Craft’s largest exhibitions to date – featuring artists working across medium, scale and practice, representing exceptional Australian talent.

DONE/UNDONE explores the creative process as a space of constant negotiation – a series of decisions to build, erase, repeat, or let be. It’s about that intuitive moment when a maker chooses to pause, to push further, or to dismantle entirely. These are the choices that define the rhythm of making – choices familiar to artists, designers, and creators across disciplines.

Joseph Gardner is the Style Editor at Vogue Living, with a decade of experience in publishing and styling, and the founder of Sydney-based gallery, Studio Gardner.
