Damien Wright — Ned Table

Damien Wright's iconic side table 'Ned' is handcrafted using ancient red gum and Snowy Mountain Walnut legs, finished in Tung oil. Ancient Red Gum is an extremely rare, 10,000-15,000 year old timber, and is recovered from a road rock mine in Wadonga. 

Wright Studios is a commission-based furniture studio located in Melbourne, Australia. All pieces are designed and made by award-winning craftsman, Damien Wright.

Damien specialises in using Australian hardwood timbers, particularly rare indigenous species such as Ancient Redgum, Gidgee and Wallowa. He combines traditional woodworking techniques with a modern design aesthetic to create unique and beautiful items that will last a lifetime. Damien works directly with private clients and public institutions as well as in collaboration with leading architects and interior designers.
