Kristin Burgham

Kristin Burgham — 'BG Bottle' in Milk

$900
This is one of the heaviest and tallest bottles I have worked with. It is handcrafted from the finest porcelain clay and is a beautiful edition to any collection. Milk is a versatile colour that works on its own or with any off white grouping. It is also a stunning complementary colour to stronger palettes. This sculptural object is not water tight.

Kristin Burgham is a Melbourne based ceramicist working with industrial ceramic production processes and found objects. She works with discarded objects to explore and build on the narrative of both the abandoned object and evidence of its maker. Her hand-built works result in assemblages imbued with colour, scale and memory. Her works acknowledge and reflect on industry and its social history.

Burgham studied Fine Arts at RMIT and graduated in 2019. She has exhibited Internationally including during Milan Design Week in 2024. Her works are held in the public collections of National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of Ballarat, Shepparton Art Museum and Yarrila Arts and Museum. She will undertake her first artist residency in Southern Italy in 2024.
