Angela Hayes — 'Blue Sky Reflections' Sculptural Vessel
$1,210
This handmade piece expresses reflections of the blue sky captured and neatly framed in inner-city windows, puddles and paved lanes. The series originated from the study of the classic pouring vessel. Here, the lip, the body, the foot, the spout, and the handle are evolved contemporary architectonic slab constructed forms. It is watertight to hold a simple floral display yet also departs from the functional constraints of the vessel to stand alone as a striking sculptural art piece.
