Jan Vogelpoel — 'Evolution I' Sculpture
Evolution by Jan Vogelpoel harnesses the energy and fluidity of nature with Jan's signature mid-century twist. The sense of erosion embedded in this capsule collection calls to mind swirling winds laden with sea salt and the constant movement of the tides on coastal cliffs.
As these elements work together they reshape the landscape over time, which is both enduring and in a constant state of flux. This hand built, one of a kind sculptural vessel captures the movement of the elements in the striations and rhythm of its piece. Imperfect by design, it echo nature's energy and endurance. Inspired by the sandstone cliffs and eroded rocks found around the Mornington Peninsula.
