Clae Studio — 'Heirloom' Sculptural Vessel in Klein Blue
A sculptural blue vessel with a bold silhouette. Influenced by the French artist Yves Klein, the vivid blue acts as a reminder to reflect upon the wisdom of nature. This vessel was part of the group exhibition 'Shaped', 2022.
Clae Studio is the project of artist Britt Neech, based on the Mornington Peninsula. Her sculptural and playful pieces reference art, history and nature. Using minimalistic forms, she creates each piece by hand with careful consideration to the textures and colours of the clay showcasing the intrinsic beauty of the material.
Neech participated in the group exhibitions 'Shaped' and 'Clay Connected' at Craft Victoria, as well as her solo exhibition 'Finding Form' at the Michael Reid Clay Gallery, NSW.
