Katherine Mahoney — Small Dinner Plate in Concrete
Katherine Mahoney is a potter living and working in Ku-ring-gai/Sydney. She became immersed in the rich history of Asian ceramics after living in Hong Kong. Here she exhibited one-off pieces and gained international reputation for her work.
Mahoney moved to Sydney in the late nineties and continued to exhibit one-off wheel thrown pieces as well as collaborating with restaurants, designers and galleries to create unique works. She completed an apprenticeship at Cranbrook Station Pottery in the UK.
