The Perspex beads are laser-cut at the studio and assembled into stripes to create rhythm and patterns. The silver is cast in Melbourne, and each necklace is similar but unique

Christina Darras is an interdisciplanary artist besed in Melbourne Naarm. Through her practice, she explores the sentimental bond with jewellery, seeing it as part of one's life, keeping moments alive, and carrying a symbolic meaning. She employs colour as a building block, and she believes in its emotional solid value.

Darras holds a Masters of Contemporary Art at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne Postgraduate Diploma in Printmaking at Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London, UK Bachelor of Arts in Painting and Drawing at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, France.
