Kate Durham
Kate Durham – 'Pearly Pale' Necklace
Kate Durham's jewellery works against an agreed definition of modern value. Kate's work seeks out decorative design elements that tend to challenge the notion of minimalism and the value of material. Kate works with found objects which explores the use of non-valuable materials within a jewellery lens. Engaging the ideas of femininity, desirability and history, with an aesthetic and cheekiness.
