Billie Civello — Limb Stool, 2025

$2,950

The Limb stool is cast in recycled aluminium from branches collected on walks along the Merri Creek over the span of a year. These small acts of gathering elevate mundane materials, giving memory and sentiment, grounding the work in daily experiences. The chair reflects on how quotidian moments can be reworked into forms that carry traces of time and familiarity.

Billie Civello is a transgender Australian-born furniture designer based on the Kulins nations. Their creative practice explores form through metalwork and sculpture, sitting at the intersection of art and design. Dedicated to crafting objects that embody timelessness and contemporary aesthetics, Billie draws on natural forms and raw materials to create simple yet resonant works, imbuing everyday objects with narrative and character.
