Established in 2003, Third Drawer Down has collaborated with over 150 emerging and established artists, including David Shrigley, Louise Bourgeois, and Ai Weiwei. Jon Campbell's mix of warmth, grit and humour makes him one of Australia's most exciting contemporary artists. His work celebrates the daily life of the Australian suburban experience. The Yeah Flag has had a broad history, first made for an exhibition in New Zealand in 2004. Since then it has been flown all over the world including at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. 'Yeah' is for everybody.
Jon Campbell's works are held in collections at the NGV, Sydney's MCA, and Heide Museum of Modern Art. He was the recipient of the 2010 Melbourne Art Foundation Artist Commission, and won the Basil Sellers Art Prize in 2012.
