Combining techniques including glass painting, fusing, blowing and sculpting, Chaseling creates expressive works that are then warped, stretched and crushed through intuitive, improvised gestures. The resulting sculptures appear to sag under the weight of molten glass, their surfaces folded and creased into dynamic, organic forms. Balancing abstraction and expressionism, these works capture a sense of movement, transformation and material vitality.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e—\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003eScott Chaseling is an internationally recognised glass artist whose practice continually pushes the boundaries of the medium. Following his studies in Australia, he developed his work through extensive international teaching, residencies and workshops, embracing a transient studio model that has shaped an innovative and evolving material language. His work has been exhibited widely across Europe and beyond, including at the European Museum of Modern Glass, the Pergamon Museum, and the Musée-Atelier du Verre. In 2025, his work was featured in the Loewe Craft Prize at Madrid’s Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum.
