Sarah Schembri is an Australian Ceramic Artist. Her parents migrated from Malta to Australia in the early 1950s where they worked hard on the family farm in Western Victoria raising their three children. It was here that Sarah developed her strong work ethic and became inspired by the natural surroundings of country Victoria.
Originally starting her career in the corporate world, Sarah soon discovered pottery as an after hours passion, exploring her creativity. She found that throwing pottery on a wheel gave her great satisfaction and relaxation. After some time, Sarah made the decision to pursue her passion for pottery and tableware full time.
Sarah worked and studied Ceramics at Ballarat University, where she developed her bold yet incredibly organic style.
