Sarah Johnston graduated with a Bachelor Degree from RMIT Fine Art program in 2015. In 2012 Sarah returned to a childhood interest in semi-precious stones, she joined a local Melbourne lapidary club and began learning stone faceting and carving. During her studies at RMIT Sarah spent two exchange semesters abroad, firstly at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn, Estonia and Idar-Oberstein Campus, Germany were she honed her stone working skills. Sarah’s work emerges from her natural response when working with the mystery of stones.
