Rowsaan – Rowsaan Tray (Aluminium), 2022

$600

The Rowsaan trays explore curved metal sheet forming to provide both the tray rims and handles. Peened feet float the tray above the table surface and provide a mechanical connection for the two aluminium layers. The steel tray is worked red hot from the forge with hammers until the desired form is reached and then heat textured and blackened. The aluminium tray is annealed and worked cold with hammers so that the two layers nest together and then brush finished.span>
