Pip studied at the Canberra School of Art, Australian National University, where she received a Bachelors degree in the four-year Visual Arts course majoring in silversmithing. After completing her studies in 1996, she moved to Sydney & opened her own studio designing & manufacturing jewellery & hollowware, which is sold in galleries & boutiques throughout Australia & exhibited internationally. Pip’s designs reflect her fascination for clean-cut geometric shapes using silversmithing techniques & a variety of materials such as silver, gold, titanium & delrin. These shapes integrate & overlap into stylish, simple & wearable designs. Pip’s signature is clever catches - a toggle at the back of necklaces which vary the length or front-adjusting necklaces with sliding, interlocking components.
