About Joanna and Caravan Creative
Joanna Sim is the founder of Caravan Creative, a digital strategy and storytelling studio for responsible fashion and accessories brands and makers.
Joanna left behind a career as a copywriter and social media manager in advertising to go into the first of three businesses, Thread Den, a sewing lounge with a packed program of dressmaking and craft classes and a retail store and monthly market supporting local craft and design. And later, she owned The Fashion Market, a pop-up market for local, ethical fashion and accessories makers and vintage and preloved designer women’s clothing.
She now channels her social media and storytelling expertise into helping small businesses develop solid digital strategies to connect with and grow their community in the digital playground.
