A small, narrow vessel with multi-tone glaze and subtle speckles.
Kaye Poulton is a ceramicist who lives and works in the outskirts of Mooroopna, Yorta Yorta Land. She hand mixes different clays and uses a soft matte glaze to achieve a stony smooth surface, often speckled or mottled adding a rich depth to each piece.
Poulton has received major awards through Ceramics Victoria, the Melbourne Teapot Show and has been short listed in the Clunes Ceramic Award four times. Her work is held in private and public collections including Shepparton Art Museum.
