Jan Vogelpoel — White Eroded Abstract Tile Sculpture

Melbourne-based Jan Vogelpoel produces unique sculptural pieces that reflect her love of organic shapes, vibrant shades, and graphic lines.
Born in the UK, raised in South Africa, Jan has worked with clay for over 20 years, honing her skills under the direction of famed Capetonian ceramicist Barbara Jackson and teacher Karen Scott. Jan’s work explores the exciting textures and forms offered by earthenware, sculpture clay, black clay and terracotta.
Jan’s work in graphic design, interior styling and art direction over the past 25 years has led her to work with a wide range of clients and projects in the interior and fashion industries. She is now also pursuing her passion with clay.
