Honor Freeman was born in South Australia and currently lives and works in Adelaide. She is represented by Sydney’s Sabbia Gallery in Surrey Hills. Freeman's work is concerned with the ordinariness of everyday life, it gives a commentary of the smaller moments that are a constant rhythm in our everyday lives. The work seeks to make visible the relationship between us and the objects we use, the gestures, mundane activities and humble objects, like small markers silently measuring the hours and marking the days. Freeman utilises the mimetic qualities of porcelain to explore abstract snippets. From the domestic landscape - commemorating the small moments and tiny tasks.
