Emma Davies is a Melbourne-based visual artist who has pioneered contemporary materials, pushing the limits of polyester resin, fibreglass and now polypropylene. Her process of discovery and invention is largely experimental and pushes new materials through often unconventional modes of manufacture. Davies’ highly sought after pieces have been exhibited around Australia and internationally, as well as in numerous commercial commissions and public space installations throughout the Asia Pacific region.
