Billy Crellin studied Photomedia at the Sydney College of the Arts, undertaking his Honours research year in Glass, Object Art and Design. After graduating in 2013, he left Australia to refine his skills as a glass maker by working with various industrial and applied arts hubs across Central Europe.
In 2017, he joined the Associate Program, Glass Studio at the Jam Factory in Adelaide, South Australia. His functional work is characterised by its unique colour palette, using violet and soft pink shades of glass and minimal aesthetic.
Billy's stackable glass series represented South Australia at Denfair 2018 and his whisky glasses were featured as part of Craft's ongoing collaboration with local distillery, Starward Whisky.
