Jesse Dyer is an emerging artist from Melbourne. His practice engages with hybrid forms— combining individual media forms (video, photo, text) in interactive web-based artworks. Since learning bookmaking at Ancora Press during his BFA, Dyer has since opened Moor Press, specialising in hand making elegant artist books and journals, and small run publications.
The paper used within the journals is certified archival, to the standards of the National Archive of Australia and bears their watermark. His artist books have used letterpress, hand-set type, traditional binding methods, cyanotypes and gum bichromate printing.
This particular series of A6 Soft Cover Notebooks are made with this same archival paper and are perfect bound using hot glue. Size and page numbers are approximate due to the binding method.
Materials: plain archival paper, cover & end papers are Fabriano Tiziano
