A skilled visual artist, object maker and jeweler, Yasmin Hackett began her career studying at the Brighton Bay college of Art, Design and Photography where she developed a passion for creating wearable pieces. After establishing her skillset in the arts, Yasmin progressed to a Bachelor of Fine art, majoring in Gold and Silversmithing, at RMIT University where her aptitude for jewelry making emerged.
Yasmin creates unique pieces of jewellery that seek to transform the aesthetics of the natural world into distinctive, jewel like landscapes that meticulously explore the intricate beauties of nature and the organic form.
Each piece bares the prints of the maker’s hand, an intimate detail that signifies the essential signature of her work.
